Where can I store my luggage for a week in Amsterdam?
I shall fly into Amsterdam, Netherlands next week with a backpack and
a suitecase. Then I'll travel off to Germany for about a week before returning to Amesterdam again. I do not want to bring my suitecase along to Germany and need a place to store it in Amesterdam before my return. Are there some places that I can store my luggage in for a week? Any information is greatly appreciated. |

If the o.p have booked a hotel for the final stay it could be an idea to ask them. It's not unlikely that a hotel will provide a such service. L.p |

Any information is greatly appreciated. I've done this by asking the hotel at which I am staying to store the bag(s). If you are hostelling it, I don't know how they feel about this. Lockers in stations probably have a 1 day limit (just guessing, I admit), but a left luggage with an attentent might accept it for a week. Paul |
Re: Where can I store my luggage for a week in Amsterdam?
I 've used the lockers in the central station in Amsterdam a few months ago
and I seem to remember that there was a 24 hour limit too. I 'm not sure though!! schreef in bericht news:M6Koa.282843$OV.331337@rwcrnsc54... > "Delphi" wrote in message > news:[email protected]... > > I shall fly into Amsterdam, Netherlands next week with a backpack and > > a suitecase. Re: Where can I store my luggage for a week in Amsterdam?
you should ask at the hotel where you'll be staying in Amsterdam [when you
return there]. What with the current war on tourism, hoteliers are happy to offer any help needed. [I should know, I'm one of them]. I haven't seen this entire thread but if it hasn't already been mentioned there is a baggage office in the basement between terminals 1 and 2 at Schiphol. You can leave baggage for up to one month. Open hours are 06:16 to 22:45, Telephone +31-(0)20-601-2443. There is also an attended baggage office at Amsterdam's Central Station. Re: Where can I store my luggage for a week in Amsterdam?
Hi,
you'll probably take the train to germany... so the train station is an option. but if you're staying at the same hotel when you get back then ask if you can leave them at the hotel... I've done it several times with no problems... this way they know you're coming back.... and it's free. ttyl akia Delphi wrote: > I shall fly into Amsterdam, Netherlands next week with a backpack and > a suitecase.
