Default What to do in Warsaw on a Sunday?

My first full day in Warsaw will be a Sunday. I assume museums, shops, and
other attractions will be closed, correct? What can I do and see other than
just walking around and seeing everything from the outside?

I think the museums close Mondays, not Sundays. This used to be the case, at
least.

Walk around the Old Town. Go out to the old Jewish Quarter. It was
flattened so all the buildings are post war but there are a number of
monuments worth seeing. Walk or bus down to Park Lazienkowski which, apart
from being nice and green has several nice buildings and a lake.

We were in a similar position back in May and wandering the old town kept us
happy for the rest of Sunday.

I believe most attractions will be open, although some may operate under
special hours.

Things to do:

I also recommend delicious pastries and coffee at Blikle Cafe located on
Nowy Swiat 33.

Have fun!
