I am planning a last minute vacation to Wales. I will fly in from Amsterdam
to Liverpool. I want to make my first stop in Cynwyd, Denbighshire (hostel)
on july 2, then stay
in Tyncornel, Ceredigion (hostel)on July 3, next is Marloes Sands, Pembs on
july 4.
I have emailed the YHA if there is still accommodation in these hostels.
Other hostels with online booking are mostly allready occupied.
I want to return on July 10. Any tips are welcome. I am thinking about
staying also in Pwll Deri and Poppit sand hostel.

If you're traveling from Denbighshire to Ceredigion in one day you're going
to be doing quite a lot of driving that day. The roads through mid-Wales are
windy and slow, and at that time of year there will probably be quite a lot
of holiday traffic as well. Unless you have a particular reason for heading
SW straight away I'd suggest spending more time in North Wales (particularly
Snowdonia) - it's an easy drive along the North Wales coast.

Oh, it shouldn't be too bad, Cynwyd (home of the famous Ifor Williams
Trailers -- I'm old enough to remember when Ifor was just producing them
for his friends and neighbours, rather than seemingly every farm in
Britain and Ireland! He developed a product with a perfect niche
market...) is pretty close to Denbighshire's southwest border, and the
A494's not a bad road.

Or if you're starting from Cynwyd, up the A5...
