Wait with Australia
If you intended to travel to Australia: wait another 2 months.
Continuous draught and excessive temps (today 38?C just north of
Sydney) make travelling/sightseeing pretty unpleasant. And the forecast
for February is for unusually high temperatures.
In the meantime you can have a look at rent-a-cloud.com. Natures
Video Ecards. Big big skies, suns in a hurry and crazy clouds all in
motion over gorgeous landscapes. And lots of nature photos too. All
FREE to send away.
Come and look around - youll stay real long.
Thankyou!

degrees in summer. Why freeze in Europe or US!?

I've been reading about hellish temperatures of 40c during the
Australian tennis, which is about 18 degrees too hot for me!

You might want to comment on the water restrictions, yob culture, cost
of booze, rates of mental illness etc...

Re: Wait with Australia
Sorry for the 'draught' typo. Have been waiting for a 'draught'.
Unfortunately, all we are getting is a drought - in its 5th year in
eastern Australia.
And 38 degrees Celsius translates into 100.4 Fahrenheit.

Meh.
1) This is rec.travel.europe. As much as I'd like Australia to be in
Europe, it's unlikely to happen soon. Choose a better newsgroup.
2) Excessive temperatures are the reason people come to Australia. I assure
you, now is the time to be in Melbourne, not winter.
