Hello !
I am Italian and I am getting back from Italy to Romania by car, with
my Romanian girlfriend.
We would like to spend 1 week in Croatia, before returning to
Bucharest, where we live.
When we left Romania, a travel agent told us that Romanian citizens do
not need visa for Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Hungary. I
refer to holiday visa.
Indeed, it is not true. We have been stopped at the border between
Bulgary and Serbia, because Serbia wants visa for Romanians.
So, I would be grateful if someone could help us in understanding the
situation.
Thank you very much
Paolo e Silvia

The only reliable source of information is the Serbian Embassy/Consulate in
Romania, not a Usenet travel site.

The "situation" apparently is that you were given wrong information about
visas from a travel agent. Always ask a diplomatic mission of the
country involved; don't rely on a travel agent, and even less on Usenet.
