Venice to Istria: Hydrofoil

Does anyone know if there is a hydrofoil service from Venice (Italy) to
Porec (or any part of Istria Croatia)? Also, approximately how many
hours would it take?

Thank you.

Last year I took a fast ferry (not a hydrofoil, but speedy anyway) from
Venice to Rovinj in Istria. This was in september.

In my epxerience there are regular departures from several Istrian towns
to Venice every morning during the tourist season (May till september),
with returns in the afternoon. They mostly cater to daytrippers (people
holidaying in Istria wanting a day in Venice) but take on one way
passengers.

In my case I had not arranged anything in advance. I just travelled to
Venice, walked to the stazzione marittime, and asked there. There were
then (mid september) three ships that were sailing to Istria that
afternoon , all between 17:30 and 18:30. As far as I remember they were
going to Porec and Rovinj.

Crossed to Rovinj. The corssing lasted about 2 1/2 hours, and I found a
room in a hotel in Rovinj with no problem. Ah, spur of the moemnt travel...
By far the most agreeable way I ever arrived in a country...

One company that has a website is:

(There are more . Google is your friend...)
