They are no worse than Israelis--which is understandable, since both
groups are virtually identical in terms of ethnicity and culture.

Just because one or two Israelis did so doesn't mean that all Israelis
are like that.

Besides, Americans are sacrificing their children in useless foreign
wars solely for the purpose of enriching the President's friends.

Going back to Spain (and presumably Portugal too), they sure were a hell
of a lot more civilized than the Christian kings who eventually pushed
them back to Africa.

Their contribution to arts and science was also quite superior to that of
the Catholic barbarians.

Fox News has now hired some Iranian emigres (who fled Iran) as "foreign
affairs experts." And in the last couple of days, these "experts" have
been saying how Iran is building all kinds of horrible WMD. As a
result, Fox News broadcasts have been sounding the alarm over the need
to confront Iran.

In addition, Fox News is giving practically around-the-clock coverage to
the U.N. oil-for-food scandal. Their commentators and "foreign affairs
experts" have denounced the U.N. as worse than the Mafia, etc.

So the case for unilateral (non-U.N.) action against Iran is being made.

I hope we never know for sure. The Arab states have never been able to
get along with each other in any lasting way, and that exists even to
an interpersonal level. It's a pretty hard place to live.

But then experience shows us that if Iran actually HAD nuclear
weapons, war would not be inevitable, but a less appealing option.
Just look at Pakistan and Nth Korea for an example. No-one is going to
be invading them!

The fact is that this whole anti-WMD/Iran thing is purely a political
thing. The last thing the west wants is to lose political might to
another Islamic country at the moment.

I believe this has been the line of US policy for the last 60 years -
stop anyone else getting the good cards.

Yer darn tootin' - I for one would rather the US and the West have the "good
cards" than any Islamic/Arab states...

Most of the West is pretty damn worried about Bush and his warmongering
cabinet, considering the "good cards" they hold.

A part of me wants to see the whole Arab world burn down, and many parts of
Europe :) I want to see a greater Israel dominate the entire middle east. I
also wouldnt mind seeing France and other places get overwelmed with muslims
to teach them a lesson :)
