It's hard to suggest anything, because the Azov Sea has next to no
tourist infrastructure at all. The sea-lake is very, very shallow and
sandy, so it is not the best place for swimming. The town of Genichesk
draws innumerable crowds of Ukrainians, because it is reportedly the
cheapest resort in Europe.

All places of historical interest are situated on the Russian side of
the sea: Azov, whose history dates back to before Christian era, and
Taganrog - a birth place of the Russian fleet, Anton Chekhov and the
death place of Alexander I.

If you want to visit the sea during your travel to Ukraine, you'd
better go to Sevastopol, Yalta or Odessa.

Best wishes
