Hi all,
In early July, my family and I are motoring down from Dieppe to Cannes. On
the way, we want to stop off near Paris and spend a few hours in the city
and leave for the South early the next morning.
Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel/motel to the south of Paris close to a
Metro or RER line. There'll be six of us.
Many thanks,
B

For my two cents worth.... I wouldn't bother with Paris if you are only going
to spend one day there. There is too much to see and do. I would recommend a
minimum of four days. If all you want to do is to have a quick look at the
city you might consider a quick drive through. If you come down from the
direction of the airport, you can slip across and drive along by the River
Seine and then scoot out through the east side and be on your way to the
south. Be sure to avoid rush hour.

Thanks Dave, but we've been there a couple of times recently and I do agree
with you. I've found a very reasonable hotel close to the Eiffel Tower so
w're now sorted.
Many thanks for your reply.
