Traveling from Stockholm:Arlanda to Nykoping:Skavsta in hurry
Hi my Swedish traveling experts!
I need some advice one this matter, which seems to be a tricky one. I have
to change airports and have only approximately 3.5 hours time to do it. My
flight arrives to Arlanda on the 14 of July at 18.15 and the next flight
departs from Skavsta at 21.40.
I have checked the timetable of "Flygbussarna" and I think that I can't make
it with them. The last Flygbuss will depart from Cityterminalen to Skavsta
at 19.00 and if I miss it, what will be a problem. My first flight might be
late or I am not fast enough to travel from Arlanda to Stockholm City. I
have noticed that Arlanda Express will take me from Arlanda to
Cityterminalen in 20 minutes, but if I can take that it gives me only 5
minutes to run to the flygbussen. Is that enough time, I don't know!
What could be my plan B, if I miss that last flygbussen. Is there any other
way to travel from Stockholm to Skavsta after 19.00 o'clock. Of course I
could use a taxi, but it is funny to waste money for a taxi, arter all my
route is about to save money!

trust that I could make this happen smoothly.

Tricky problem.
The AeX airport train departs Arlanda 18:20 and 18:35
arrival 18:40 and 18:55 repectively.
Assuming you don't have checked luggage you can reach the 18:35 if the plane
arrives at scheduled time.
As the coach terminal is close to the arrival plattform you may eventually
reach it in 5 minutes with a fast run.
There's a train to Nyköping 18:45 which doesn't help much.

Sorry but having missed the Skavsta coach I can't see any alternative but a
very expensive taxi ! It's about 100km to Skavsta so a taxi is a matter of
say 1000SEK

I guess you must be prepared for an expensive taxi or miss the Skavsta
flight.
You can't rearrange the connecting flight ?

Tricky problem.
The AeX airport train departs Arlanda 18:20 and 18:35
arrival 18:40 and 18:55 repectively.

Sorry but having missed the Skavsta coach I can't see any alternative but a
very expensive taxi ! It's about 100km to Skavsta so a taxi is a matter of

You could reduce the taxi cost somewhat by going to Sodertalje by
train or commuter train, but the difference won't be so great
comparing with a taxi all the way from Stockholm. (Maybe 1000 SEK
instead of 1200 SEK, or something like that).
Best to change plans. Spend a night in Stockholm, or a day, or
something.. Or see if there is an alternative flight out of Vasteras
with a more suitable departure time.

catch the relevant connection for sure? Must be cheaper than a taxi to
Skavsta?

Simply taxi can't beat the train. The train have a top speed of 200km/h
not allowed for cars. Estimate some 30 min and 395SEK for a taxi.

Arlanda - being the much bigger airport of the two - is well served by
trains and buses, unlike Skavsta. A taxi from Arlanda into Stockholm
would be slower than the Arlanda express train, and only a few minutes
faster than the airport coaches. The difficult part is therefore how
to get to Skavsta quickly.

Arlanda - being the much bigger airport of the two - is well served by
