Default Travel recommendations

Hi there! I recently moved to London and would like some travel
suggestions. I'm on holiday for a week and I'd like to see parts of
England or Wales, but I don't have a car, so I'll have to rely on
public transport. Does anyone have any suggestions on which places I
could travel to?

TIA,
Sue

My new email address is that one, with the first digit of years in the

and whether you want day trips or to stay over somwhere.

to add to what's gone before:

Windsor, Canterbury, Rochester, Tunbridge Wells
Stratford(upon Avon) are viable day trips.
