Has anyone ever bought travel insurance from either HTH
(www.highwaytohealth.com) or Travel Insured (www.travelinsured.com)? If so,
were you pleased with their customer support and claims handling? Thanks!

I've never purchased travel insurance before; it seems a bit steep. Do
most people get travel insurance when going to Europe?
My medical insurance covers us, so I don't see the need. Maybe there's
something I don't know about, though.

To reply to me, drop the attitude (from my e-mail address, at least)

In response to BB: It depends on his age, as well as his insurance. If
he old enough to have Medicare, he MUST take out insurance.
Never heard of those companies, but that does not mean they are not OK.
But why not use the well-known ones like Berkeley or Travelguard, etc?

It's sensible. But not completely necessary if you live in the UK and carry
an E111 NHS treatment form. But you don't say where you come from so I don't
know if that applies to you.
