Yes.

The train station is inside the airport and trains leave between 4 and 6
times per hour. The trip takes under 20 minutes and costs just a few Euro.
It's the fastest and easiest way to get into town. The only cheaper way is
by bicycle (which is highly recommended, but you'd have to bring one as I
don't believe they rent them out at the airport).

"There is a railway station in the terminal's central plaza; direct trains
run to Amsterdam Centraal Station every 15 minutes 0600-2400 and every hour
through the night (journey time: 20 minutes). There is also a direct link
between Schiphol and Amsterdam’s RAI Congress Centre, with trains running
every 15 minutes 0525-0010. The reservation-only, high-speed Thalys train
serves Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris and has
facilities for disabled travellers. Public buses run regularly to Amsterdam
and other cities. KLM operates a blue shuttle bus service to the city centre
0600-2300, departing every 30 minutes and stopping at a number of hotels,
before returning to the airport."

For the Schiphol Airport rail service, just walk into the shopping plaza,
buy a ticket to Amsterdam's Centraal Station and catch the next train.
Trolleys (carts), which are free of charge, can be taken right on to the
platform.
Trains run every 15 minutes between 6am and midnight, after which they run
hourly. The journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is cheaper than the
bus. There are also rail connections from Schiphol to the majority of
stations in the Netherlands.
This is excellent if you do not have too many luggages.

Is the pope a catholic? You'll find it a breeze. Signs for the
airport rail station are clear, and it's a cheap, fast and frequent
service- about ¤2 one way IIRC.

Although they used to be clearer before the rebuilding of the airport
front, when the station was outside and connected by an underground
passage. Now they are overwhelmed by the all the confusion of the
shopping mall.

You'd have to be quite inattentive not to find it, I think.
