Trying to sort out flights for my husband.
He needs to get to Remuzat, Drome. Which I understand is about 1 hour from
Nimes
options ( so far)
Ryanair flight to Nimes from Stansted
Fly-be flight to Toulouse from Southampton
As we live on the IW, Southampton is our preferred airport.
Also the Ryan air flight arrives too late at Stansted for public transport
back to Portsmouth. So he'd have to "camp" in arrivals overnight.
So the question is... if he gets the Toulouse flight landing at 1615 can he
get to near Remuzat by public transport that evening.
TIA

Having now found Remuzat on Google. It appears to be "near" to Nyons.
BA fly Gatwick to Marseilles- which is a lot nearer to Nyons than Toulouse
is!!
I've tried the SNCF web site but I'm finding it a nightmare !!

No, you can't. Seem to be a lovely place but in the middle of nowhere
Most close rail station is Avignon eventually Montelimar. To reach Avignon
the same day you need to catch a train from Toulouse at 16:55 which is
unlikely.
Try the local tourist bureau

Thankyou for taking the time to research this- something I also do for
people on here and other travel newsgroups. Sorry you couldn't reply
privately- I always thought that was frowned upon within newsgroups. Is
there good reason why you do not wish to post your reply here?
I've haven't used my real email address on newsgroups for about 2 years, not
since I had to change it after some prat subscribed me to hundreds of Junk
Mail sites!!
Thanks
