Topless in Europe
What is the most topless (female) country in Europe (nude beaches
don't count, those are just for freaks)? That is, the percentage of women at the beach who are topless. Bonus points for the participation of young local women: This is what I think: 1.France (Only in southern France (and La Rochelle). Most are local, most are young) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 2.Denmark (all ages, 99.9% local) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 3.Grece (mostly tourists, only on the islands) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 4.Spain (only in Northern Spain. Mostly tourists in San Sebastian and Ibiza. Some locals in Barcelona.) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 5.Italy (locals, all ages. None in Sicily. http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 6.Holland (mostly locals, all ages) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 7.Germany (assuming it is warm enough, and usually older women) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 8.Croatia (watch out for the land mines) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html 9.Switzerland (In the French part, while changing into their bikini) http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html Rare in other European countries. (Remember, because were not freaks, nude beaches don't count) Are there any European countries where exposed breasts (at the beach) are illegal (I'm guessing Turkey)? Sam Female toplessness will get you a criminal record in most Canadian provinces (including Quebec) unless you have a baby sucking on one. It is rare in Ontario but legal. http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html (Warning, because I got bored, I added a bunch of pictures of young topless movie stars at the bottom of most pages (except the main page). Please click on the Google adds. Since September, I've accumulated a grand total of US$5.82. Unfortunately, I wont get paid by Google until I get to ten bucks. |

On many Spanish beaches *away from buildings* nudity is common, "toplessness" unremarked. Spanish or tourist (Franco is dead). >Female toplessness will get you a criminal record in most Canadian >provinces (including Quebec) unless you have a baby sucking on one. You would be wrong. The locals may not choose to go topless (often), but they want the tourist money so they won't complain if others choose to go without tops at the beach. Same as for some countries in the Muslim heart land such as Egypt. > Please click on the Google adds. Since September, I've accumulated a > grand total of US$5.82. Either your are stupid or malicious and trying to get someone you don't like banned. Still leaves me thinking you must be about twelve. Beach Comber http://worldbeachlist.com/ (and I'm not afraid to list nude beaches, because I don't see them as freaks :) |

Don't you realise this is just a scam to get you to look at their webpage. No doubt they get paid for every click on it! And no doubt there are NO topless picture anywhere. |

Re: Topless in Europe
They? Believe me, this is a solo operation ;-)
There are topless pictures at the bottom of each page (except the main page). Looking at these pages while working at Canadian companies/government would be grounds for dismissal. However, since it is an immigration web site, I figure few Canadians would venture. http://www.geocities.com/merdealorsen/immigration.html Toplessness is one of those European highlights that most Canadians talk about upon their return (both women and men). So it is definitely on topic here. Unfortunately, many travelers return disappointed as they have been to a beach in say, Normandy, where women are covered. Myself I've wasted time at the beach in Sweden. As Europe is painfully expensive, I'm just trying to help my fellow travelers who want to take it all in during their two weeks of annual vacation. Americans have even less vacation time (there is no legal minimum) and are even more impressed by a beach full of local topless girls. I'm not suggesting you should go to Europe just to see thousands of bare breasts. But it is part of the package. Art, architecture, food, drinks, trains, je ne sais quoi... and topless beaches. Worth every penny. Most people have a nearby nude beach. You don't need to travel far for that. However, topless women at the beach is rare in most of North America. Exceptions include Miami Beach. Sam PS. My last posting generated 80 visits and 13 cents (albeit it US currency). |

Plenty of topless in Europe, if portly German businessmen and flabby Hausfraus turn you on. |

news:[email protected] oups.com... > Toplessness is one of those European highlights that > most Canadians talk about upon their return (both women > and men). No, it isn't. For Canadians, European highlights are things like Big Ben, the Louvre, the Sistine Chapel, the Eiffel Tower, German beer, Dutch weed, so on and so forth. Canadians generally don't bother with beaches, let alone topless beaches, in Europe because the Caribbean is a lot closer, and it's also cheaper. Tell any Canadian that you've spent a week on the beach, ask them to guess where you went and it's almost a certain that they'll guess Cuba, Mexico, Florida or the Dominican Republic. Richard |

More often than not, it's too cold to venture outside for more than five minutes without a top. Richard |
