Taxi transfer from CDG to disneyland Resort Paris

Hi There,

I travelled to DLP in July 2007 from East Midlands Airport in the UK
via BMI Baby. I originally was going to use the disneyland bus service
to get to the resort however after having googled "taxi transfer from
CDG to Disneyland Paris" I found that from only an extra 12 euros it
was possible to get a taxi transfer instead of using the large bus
service. I tried ringing several of the companies listed on google but
all gave a meesage about the number being a voice box service
available for purchasing. As you can imagine that put me off a bit. I
eventually emailed a compay called Paris Shuttle service (https://
parisshuttleservice.com) and received a reply the following day from a
Mr Mordi. He confirmed the prices of 70 euros for a shared (mini bus)
service or 80 euros for a private taxi transfer. By email I confirmed
I the private taxi transfer.

I arrived at CDG collected bags and as I walked out of the baggage
collection area a man from Paris shuttle was standing there to greet
me with his yellow and blue card. He was extremely smart in a black
suit/white shirt and took our bags and proceeded to the car park. I
was very glad to have been met as CDG is quite a big airport and can
be dauting at first in terms of bearings. Our car was a 2007 VW passat
estate, and we were driven straight to the Santa Fe Hotel reception
door, our bags were unloaded and I paid the driver there and then 80
Euros. To sum up I was very impressed and can hand on heart recommend
this service.

I caught the bus back to the airport and the experience whilst not bas
was no where near as nice, on the bus the family were sat in four
different locations (not good for the kids aged 5 & 8) plus it took a
little longer and was quite hot!).

I also booked a days tour of Paris via cityrama - quite pricey (192
euros for 2 adults & 2 children -but the experience was good (apart
from the mad rush to get on the coaches when they first pull up). The
coaches get hot so a good tip is to take some drinks - although they
do sell bottled water for only 1 euro on the buses !

PPS - Santa fe is an ok hotel but the 10 minute walk quoted from the
hotel to the park is more like 25 minutes when you walk at childs pace
- my tip would be to move to one of the other hotels nearer by such as
Sequioa lodge or Hotel Cheyenne.

Cheers
Bob.
