Obviously you don't.

Educate yourself. Maybe then, you can avoid making an ass of yourself in an
international forum.

Future generations? Now that is being optimistic.

Yea, I do ... perfectly. The greenies have created a
situation where they're ALWAYS right, where they can
pick ANY anomaly and say "See !".

>Educate yourself. Maybe then, you can avoid making an ass of yourself in an
>international forum.

You refer to the notion that elevated tropical temperatures
force more moisture into cooler regions, where it condenses
as an excess of rain or snow.

Unproven. Others say GW will lead to climatic stratification
instead with distinct hot/wet, cool/dry and cold/arid zones
seperated by rather thin, tormented lines.

But the other notion allows you to say "See !" every time
there's a record somewhere so it's far more useful politically.

That's an asinine remark the REAL Earl Eveleth would never
be guilty of making, Piggy! The overall EFFECT is global
warming, but one of the proofs it's occurring is the
widespread departure from "normal" weather conditions,
world-wide. As I understand the concept, once mankind
succeeds in exterminating itself and can no longer spew
toxic gases into the atmosphere, the carbon dioxide layer
we've created will reverse its effect - instead of holding
those warming elements IN, it will block warmth from the
sun's incoming rays, and earth will be icebound, instead.
(It's true my "knowledge" is garnered from science-fiction,
but the writers in that genre whom I've met have backgrounds
in science, so tend to extrapolate from known fact.)

But, although cancer CAN go into spontaneous remission, it's
doubtful global warming has the same option. Isn't it
already too late for any but the most drastic of "solutions"?

The American Revolution was not so much about human rights as it was
about *property* rights...

It was not a "revolution" but a tax rebellion by those who paid that
taxes. But progressively the Colonials got their dander up. They
were saved from disaster by the French who after the Colonials
won the Battle at Saratoga decided to back them in order to
do as much harm as possible to their traditional enemy, the
English (the French at times had also aided the Irish and Scottish
against the English).

The French revolution had much broader consequences in being a social
revolution, almost classical Marxist class warfare.

What were the eventual consequences of the French Revolution? To
that question Chou En Lai responded "It is too early to say".

Revolution implies change. But the French are masters of the
technique of having Revolutions without change.
