spain travel info request
The last time I was there was 1973 and I was traveling by motorcycle.
Spent over a month in Spain. Now older and fatter, and remembering how
rural many areas were, I am wondering if a good way to see several
areas would be by car. I would assume either a northern or southern
entry point, then travel the length of the country by car, stopping
where we felt like and getting lodging at the spur of the moment. This
would allow us the freedom we like, and let us see what we like without
having to leave on the bus with the rest of the folks on the tour.
What I am asking is if this is a good way to travel in Spain, without
any prearranged lodging and just going where we like when we like. I
am thinking of a trip of about 2-3 weeks.
Ideas welcome.

Yes, thats the best way to see real Spain. You will enjoy it. Just
avoid the costas. I would go across the north to Santiago then down
through Extremadura and Castile into Andalucia, exploring small towns
and cities on the way.

I will agree bendybuses are a good idea when they build bungalows on Mayfair
