Hello all,
I'm planning a trip to Italy next September, this time concentrating on the
south (Apulia, Calabria). Does anybody have any advice on places to go? or
any other travel advice? I've checked out the local bookstores and the
internet but there isn't anywhere near the information available as northern
Italy.

As for calabria go to Capo Vaticano, it's wonderful

Not a guidebook but a great book on Calabria to read before you go - "Stolen
Figs" by Mark Rotella (North Point Press, 2003) - his travels throughCalabria.

try to check out internet websites under "Puglia", instead of "Apulia"
