Bush can't run again. After FD Roosevelt, the only American president
to win a third (and fourth) term, the constitution was changed to
limit the president to two terms.
I think Roosevelt may have also been the only president to stand for a
third term, but I'm not sure.

I think he means to say that he feels Kerry and Bush to be equivalent.

What I meant was that with a wishy washy opponent like Kerry, who
handed the opposition all the ammunition they needed, the re-election
of GW Bush could be assured for the next election too.
And yes, I do consider Kerry and Bush to be damn near equivalent
anyway!

I thought it was just a typo.
Since it was a 'good one', I simply threw the possibility of a
continued Bush dynasty into the ring.
Although I lived in Florida for a few years, I have to admit that I
have no idea what Jeb would be like as prez. But it looks like he
might have a chance if he ran.

Well, he has a couple of daughters! (Real upstanding
citizens like their dad - how many DUI arrests, between them?)

Bush can only do four more years - two terms is the limit. (Unless you're
referring to Jeb!)
