Hi there,
I am beginning to plan a 2-week trip to Sicily in late September. I will be
travelling by car, and will try to stay off the "beaten track" as much as possible,
sleep at small bnb places, and visit as many of the small towns, beaches,
archaeological sites, countryside places and nearby islands as possible.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to what places are more interesting and worth
visiting? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Stephanos (from Athens, Greece)

We're just back from 3 weeks in Sicily; here's a quick list: Interesting & worth
visiting: Erice, Segesta, Selinute, Siracusa, Taormina, Lipari
Interesting but don't stay there: Agrigento, Stromboli, Villa Casale, Ragusa
Not particularly interesting: Cefalu
Interesting but filthy: Palermo
