Default shopping in barcelona on sundays

as i'm gonna arrive there on a sunday, i ask you if there's any
possibility to go shopping, especially food, in barcelona

i'm not very demanding, i'd just like to buy bread and fruits (not
gonna make an intensive shopping tour)

thanks in advance

No problem but remember you are in Spain - everything packs up about
1300 and comes back to life about 1700. Time for drinks then lunch and
a doze. So if you arrive in the afternoon and its all shut don't worry.
And do remember the shops are open again till 2100-2200, eating comes
later at the end of the day.

IIRC, El Corte Ingles on Placa Catalunya is open all day on Sunday. There's
a good food supermarket type section there that should do the job. Most
smaller shops are shut.

No problem.
There are 24x7 shops (like OpenCor, Seven Eleven, De Paso, etc).
Also, in certain quartiers you'll find many Pakistani or
Southamerican groceries which are open on sundays no mather what...

Default shops that are open on sunday

El Corte Ingles is not open on sundays, is it??

There are actually just a few shops open, Barcelona is really quite on sundays.
Some Pakistani in el Raval are open, I think the 24/7 on Plaza Urquinaona cosed recently, Open Cor (Ronda San Pedro) is open on sundays, Tot al Born, the supermercado on Paseo del Borne is open, there is a little supermercado open on San Pedro Mas Abajo and that is all I know.
Ah and this big supermercado, Champion, or what is the name, on las Ramblas, might be open as well.

Default castellano vs catala

Paseo del Borne is Passeig (or Pg) del Borne yes and Ronda San Pedro is Ronda Sant Pere. Both supermercats are good and open every day till late.
