Default Recharging Italian TIM GSM card from the US

I bought a TIMCard service while in Italy last October and I spent all
the balance on the prepaid card. I would like to keep the service
active and I'm now in the US. I understand that unless I recharge the
balance within 13 months my service will be deactivated.

I've tried it through their website, but unfortunately they don't take
US based VISA or American Express cards. Just the registration to their
site was an ordeal! :-)

Is there a way to obtain a RICARICard scratch card online and pay it
with a US credit card? (I've tried eBay and nothing is for sale there).
Even if I get someone in Italy to send me a new RICARICard to the US
can I call TIM customer service, scratch the card and then have them
enter the balance?

Would appreciate any ideas.

the new SIM costs 5 Euros, ( at least for WIND )
then
do you think all this efforts counts?

Its a waste for the operator too to keep dead cell phone numbers.....
