Default Question about booking a hotel online with PayPal

I'm looking to go to London in December for 4 nights staying at the
Novotel London Euston and I wanted to know if there was any online
travel agents that let you pay using PayPal as I don't want to use my
Visa card because I want to build up my credit limit, the best way
being by staying within my limit and paying in full so instead of
using my credit card I want to use my debit card which I can use with
PayPal.

But it doesn't seem to be easy finding any that do accept PayPal and I
don't want to use my local travel agent because all the brochures
charge weekend single supplements here in the UK for hotels and so
I've decided to try and book online instead...

If anyone can point me in the direction, I'd be really grateful for
anyone's help...

Have you thought about an International Money Order?

Your debit card is visa, am i correct? U can use this card to book
debit or credit..Doesn't matter it comes out of your checking either
way. So just use your debit card , u don't have to deal with paypal..

Do it the old fashioned way - Call the hotel directly.

I could do that but I want to book online through a travel agent so I
can save money rather than book through the hotel direct.

usually if you tell the hotel what rate you can get through an agent and
tell them which agent etc they will match it, doesnt always work for the
larger chains.

Well, of course it depends upon the hotel, but often the best rates are
the ones you negotiate directly. Although it's not always true, the
"special deals" you find online are not always the best hotels. Expedia
offered one in Brussels (allegedly "near" the opera house). Can't
remember the name, now, because I decided not to stay there, after I
posted a query here and got a private reply from someone who lives
there. Apparently it was on the fringes of the Brussels "red light"
district, but was trying to change its image. (Not really a desirable
place for a woman traveling alone, and expecting to be out late at night
- even though at my age I'd be more flattered than offended if
"approached".)
