Default Prague Hotel Advice Needed

I'm looking for the impossible. A hotel or pension in Prague
that is nice (2 or 3 stars), cheap (<= 60 EUR for a single)
and centrally located (in Praha 1). I'm visiting there this
October.

So far I've tried the ones that seem to get recommended in
all the books
U Krale Jiriho
Betlem Club
Pension Platan
Hotel Expres
but they are all booked out.

I'm now looking at either the Hotel Musketyr and Pension Museum,
but both are very close to Wenceslas Square (within 100m or so).
How unpleasant would this area be for a single, 40-ish woman
in the early evening (around 9pm)?

Thanks
Barbara

I recommand the Guest House "DZS", Dlouha 17, Praha 1, tel.: +420 222
317 040. i payed this summer EUR 27 p.P./1 overnight stay/breakfast.
As you'll see, the Dlouha street straitens directly northeast from the
main place "Staromestke nam." Rooms small, but clean, bathroom,
breakfast is good.
problems only getting in contact with them ba phone.
