Photoshops in small town Italy
We will be travelling in Italy this year in October and November and
staying in relatively small towns. (Montepolciano vs Florence).
Can anyone comment on the availability of photoshops that can create
photo CD's from my digital camera? Also, perhaps print directly from
the camera CF card?
Thanks for any information and any other advice re taking digital
photos while on holiday.

Montepulciano is not such a small town, and it is very geared up for
tourism. I don't have any exact information, but I would be very
surprised if their weren't several photo shops and the ability to
create a photo CD is fairly widespread.

I got 2 32 mb memory cards and I don't take enough photos to fill them
up.

In Southern Italy (Puglia) there are a surprising number of photoshops
and quite a number of serious camera stores. Photography is alive and
well all over Italy. The competition among "kiosk" photoshops is comical
every one offers free film or other enticement. I had overnight Photo CD
service and even 4 hour service one time. bill frogg

To follow up to my own post: I live in a much smaller town than
Montepulciano, which doesn't have a lot of tourism. I asked the owner
of our local photo shop if he offered such services, and if they are
very widespread in other towns. The answer was a definite "yes" to
both.
