Hotel des des Grand Ecoles. Charming. Lovely garden -- we bought wine
and cheese in nearby shops brought it back and enjoyed it in the late
afternoon before a late dinner. In Latin Quarter -- easy walk to many
key areas -- and metro nearby.

The best advice comes from people who aren't crassly trying to sell
something.

Just returned from Paris, where we stayed at the Hotel Abbatial St-Germain.
(46 Boulevard St-Germain, 5th Arrondissement. Tel. : 33 1 46 34 02 12
Fax : 33 1 43 25 47 73; also www.abbatial.com )
Comfortable (though small) rooms. Can't beat the location. And the staff
are extremely nice.
