Paris airport question

We are going from Atlanta to Nice via Paris CDG, where we have a rather
short time to get our connection. We arrive in terminal 2C and depart from
2F. Does anyone here know whether it's best to go from one to the other on
foot, or is there a bus one should take? TIA

I would think it would take at the most 10 min to walk fra 2C to 2F.
Map of the terminals at T2:

It's one terminal -- different sections.

The above "click" link shows the shuttles to the parking lots.
This one should be better:

It is a large terminal though. Last time I connected there from a
transatlantic flight to one going to the UK, I took the bus, but I don't
remember which parts of the terminal I was arriving/departing from
though. I also don't remember it being very clear how you'd actually
walk- though I know you can- the signage seemed to push you into taking
the bus, and that's also what the ground staff advised. It's a horrible
terminal IMO.

Agreed. The internal signage is terrible. Perhaps the worst I know.

Re: Paris airport question

No, not doable on foot in a short time. Take the free white shuttle busses
between terminals. You actually have 2 seperate terminals, each quite
large, seperated by both the train station and the central access road.
This could be at least a 15 minute trip, perhaps 20.

Thank you....

To all who responded. Most kind. I guess we'll take the bus and hope for
the best.

One piece of advice, if you do try walking, study a map of the terminals
carefully before you set off. The ordering of the letters defies all logic.
Alternatively, take the bus and let the driver figure it out.

Re: Paris airport question

On future trips you might consider catching a TGV at the airport.
The total travel time would about the same as flying, depending on
connections. And you get to see the Rhone Valley and Provence.

It's basically the same terminal and there is a moving walkway to connect 25
(Air France) to the rest of Terminal 2.

They're connected. You can run. Don't expect signs you can read unless
you can read French, and don't expect helpful employees.

But if you have to go between it and somewhere in the Vortex of
Chaos(the round tower maze), it's much worse. I'm never setting foot in
another French airport.

I can read French, and I still don't find helpful signs in CDG.
