I am pleased that you are able to report that he is still
thrilled with my weather reports. The next
couple of days Paris will have highs around 14�C. Since
he is sleeping outside with his Parisian colleagues
this will please him.

He should come to Chicago, almost record mild weather, e.g.around 17 degrees
on Thanksgiving Day...the windows are all open as I sit here typing. My
avian friend the cardinal looks happy sitting in his tree...

Der gRunge would have no trouble standing here on the corner and selling
pencils (it's another matter entirely whether anyone would actually buy his
shoddy wares)...
