Oyster Pre Pay

I am going to London for few days next week.

It seems "Oyster Pre Pay" is more cost saving than "Day Travelcard "
Anyone tried that ? Is the "Oyster Pre Pay" OK for traveler like mo ?
Can it be easily obtain upon arrival at Heathrow airport ?
