Default An open apology to all French people here

I openly apologize for the recent posts made by the folowing person:

Gatsby - Gary Nichols
[email protected]
He also goes by the name of "The Gay Gatsby"

He claims he is American and that he represents us.

I doubt very strongly he is American. Posts in other groups suggest he
is French-Canadian and is trying to whip up hate against Americans.
Please disregard anything this troll has written.

Vive la France!

What kind of a loser apologizes for other people's actions?

You must be desperately insecure.

This man is, apparently, not bright. He read my post, apologizing to everyone
on this ng, for acknowleging his posts and then proceeds to post this drivel.

What kind of loser worry's about someone apologizing for something that
doesn't concern them?

You must be desperately insecure.

...and have a small penis.

I just wanted to reassure everybody here that your racist views are not
the views of all Americans. Your "apology" fell far too short. You just
don't get it, do you? You are despised here because you are racist scum
and then make light of it with a snickering half-ass apology. Until you
realize this and come clean with a real, genuine, heartfelt apology,
then maybe we can forgive you and move on.

It's refreshing to see the originality in your comeback, and your concern
over my penis size.

Get some help Tony.

Nah, Tony, he was right with not too bright comment.

You keep dreaming you can make the world all sweet.

I think I hear a Coke commercial coming on.

Both of you should get lost and quit using a travel newsgroup to spout off.
I am an American, where's my apology for having to pay for online time to
see all this crap?
"All French People" don't read this group. Your differences with any other
poster don't interest them or me. Political discussions belong on political
newsgroups where people are willing to read them.

It's a curious practice to apologize for others as if they were wards of
the state.

What racist views?

True. Very few French people read USENET at all; most have never heard
of it. The overall use of the Internet in France, in fact, is very low,
as is the prevalence of home computers. Overall, the French are largely
absent from cyberspace, apart from a small minority of relatively geeky
individuals.

I don't recall seeing anything specific, but I have a feeling the race in
question is going to be "redneck."

And of course now I'm a racist too.
