Under Havel
One thing I noticed about the castle cats
in Havel’s reign: they glided without fear
parallel to you, beside the garden paths;
not veering aside or flinching if you reached
down, never fearing
a blow, a kick, or even the gardener’s wrath.

Nice anecdote :-) And it pretty much sums up Havel's way of dealing with
the world and society.
Have these cats always been around? I never noticed them in visits in the
late '70's...

Nice anecdote :-) And it pretty much sums up Havel's way of dealing with
the world and society.
