I recently took my students to Riga. We did have to leave Manchester
early (4am bus to Liverpool airport) but we were at the hostel before
noon!

EN Euro night is just a market name like IC,Intercity and EC Eurocity so
DB,SJ and a number of European national railways do operate EN-trains
227 however is operated by Artesia , a daughter company to SNCF and
Trenitalia.
Doesn't make so much sense for the average traveller as you can easy book
this night train over SNCF booking site.

I assume you could do the same back in the days when Wagon-Lits
operated the sleepers.

It's not the initial booking that's at question here. The
question is: How do you get more information if you have a
question? Should the OP call Artesia? Is there a help number?

SNCF is probably the right instance to call as they're responsible for the
booking.
Don't think there's a separate booking site for Artesia.
As I can see the o.p have by mistake made a booking he wants to cancel.

Hatunen,
Thanks, that is exactly what I've been looking for. I can't find out
who to contact SNCF. I've emailed them using the link on their site
but I don't get a respones.
The SNCF website doesn't always translate every page into English so
it's a bit of a challenge to get answers since my French is somewhat
limited.

The biggest problem is the 1st class double sleeper prices is listed,
but when you try to book it you get an error message. I've tired
booked several different dates and everytime you get the same
message.

Yes there is a fault on the SNCF website which prevents you booking double sleepers. I know this because I had the same problem with their English site and had an email confirming the problem. I had to book my sleepers by phone. Try www.raileurope.co.uk for their English site.

The site still tells you whether there are sleepers available, it is just that you cannot book them.

I recommend you look at this site www.seat61.com for everything about European train travel.

Also there is a restaurant car on the train so you can buy food.

Hope this helps.
