How much approximately is a taxi from Nice Airport to Cannes? Are there
any reasonable alternatives such as scheduled or pre-bookable (mini-)
busses?

A taxi costs around 75 EUR. There is now bookable transport (Airport
Transfer Service) available with English-speaking drivers who will meet you
at the airport. A shared vehicle is very economical. www.a-t-s.net

There is also a bus that goes directly from Nice Airport to Cannes.
http://www.aeroport-nice.com/acces_s.../recherche.asp It leaves
every 30 minutes but isn't an option for those with very early or very late
flights. There is a taxi stand in Cannes right in front of the Mairie where
the bus terminates.

There is a direct bus from the airport to Cannes. You can buy tickets
on line for a voucher you will redeem when you arrive. Or you can just
buy them when you get there. The bus takes a little under an hour
to get there.

Don't know if it's true, but I've been told that the helicopter
shuttle Nice Airport - Cannes is cheaper than a taxi! Might be worth
look.
