New Year's Eve in Krakow

I'm going to be there with my family (of 4 adults) this year. Do you
have any suggestions? Go to the Old Center? Any
tips/advices/warnings/etc?

the best restaurants are not around the Old Town but in Kazimierz -
the adjasent quater which use to be populated by the jewish minority
before the 2 WW.

pubs close there at 5 am.
