The Union which has voted (narrowly) for Strike action represents check-in
staff. Baggage handlers are represented by a different Union, the TGWU, which
has had a Strike ballot and which declares the result on Thursday. If baggage
handlers strike, then it does seem to me that the baggage of transfer passengers
will be susceptible to delays in exactly the same way as all other baggage.
Probably your best source of continuing information would be the BBC website.
