Markku Grönroos is one of the most notorious kooks on all of Usenet.

Markku Grönroos is best known for his strategy of crossposting flames.

Typically, Markku will read a crossposted message in rec.travel.europe
or soc.culture.nordic. If he doesn't like the message, he'll remove
_his_ newsgroup and leave in all the others, viciously attacking all
the other newsgroups with a flame that usually includes anti-Jewish
slurs and homophobic slurs.

Sometimes Markku writes in Finnish. Sometimes he writes in English.
Even if you don't know the language, it's obvious what he's saying from
the "hymie", "hebe", "faggot", and other slurs. According to Markku,
anyone who posts something he doesn't like must be a homosexual Jew.

Here's why Markku's tactics are kookery and net-abuse. Let's say
someone posts to 5 newsgroups, on topic for 2 of them and off-topic for
3 of them including Markku's newsgroup. Markku will respond in the 4
newsgroups that aren't his. Two of those newsgroups are on-topic and
two are off-topic, so Markku is contributing to off-topic noise in two
innocent newsgroups, and Markku's vicious attacks are usually worse
than what's occurred so far in the thread.

Aren't you worse since you haven't kill-filed him yet? After all, many
courts would argue that _you_ are responsible for your actions (or lack
of). Not many courts would convict Markku..

He is somewhat of a crank but he is certainly not worthy of being nominated
"Kook of the Month" or whatever on alt.usenet.kooks.

He is simply a "garden variety" troll, nothing real special...certainly
doesn't approach the notoriety of say, Maryanne Kehoe aka "Loafhead" for
example.
