Together with our kids (6 and 3) we are going to spend some days on the
Lofoten Islands (Norway) first half of June this year. Can anyone give a
hint where to stay ? May be someone knows a nice (and kids-friendly if
possible) cottage ?

if you have to pick one place, I would say the town of A (the town
pronounced O) a smalll town that is great for relaxing and doing nothing
more than some finishing and hiking. It is almost a living museum. It has
fisherman cabins (rhobero..spelling?) for rent right on the water.
As a secondary option, you might also consider Reine (dont remember the
exact spelling), less to do, but stunning setting.
