Liverpool - Berlin
 
Anyone know what route easyJet take from Liverpool to Berlin ? I'm
going on Friday morning and I'm just wondering what I'm likley to be
flying over !

http://www.easyjet.com/EN/routemap/ has a route map, but I don't know if
it's accurate. (Click on Liverpool.)

I think that you'll find that this route map is only a schematic.

I wondered about that, but since it shows the routes as arcs rather than
straight lines, I thought it /could/ be accurate.

but they don't fly directly from A to B within Europe. They fly from
node to node to node to ...

If you look at an aeronautical chart, you'll find the planes don't fly
the shortest route they fly from node to node. For example when I flew
to Turin from Adam the plane sometimes took a route A'dam Brussels
Frankfurt Geneva Turin or some such thing.

In the sky there are virtual lanes that the planes use.
