Try the Witwe Bolte on Gutenberggasse. Some excellent traditional Austrian
fare (wine is great also).
There is also a place out by Wien Nord station (Praterstern) called Gasthaus
Hansy, good food desserts, and great beer. If you want more touristy stuff
try Figlmueller's, they are right near St Stephan's, Augustinerkeller near
the State Opera, or (and we did have fun in May here) Esterhazykeller near
the Am Hof.
When we were in the Esterhazy in one May night, they were having Maifest and
the place was full of music and lot's of wine by the mug.
