Irritating AT&T Advert - Upside down menu

Has anyone seen that irritating call-card advert from AT&T which is
currently showing on CNN ? It shows this presumable American couple
having difficult read ing a menu or understanding "foreign" stuff with
a nice line of "isn't nice to have something familiar" and culminates
with him being stuck in a phone box while his partner admires the
sunset.
It struck me as being a bit patronising although, perhaps I don't view
travel in such a can't-venture-far-from-home-cos-they're-different
mentality.

Nothing new about this. Men are always treated as idiots in TV ads.
Best idea is to boycott the advertiser.
