No. I have no role in Scottish or UK public affairs.

Isn't that typical! Just because you have "no role in Scottish or UK public
affairs", you refuse to lend any assistance to removing the English jackboot
from the necks of the long-suffering and oppressed Scottish people.

Have you no shame?

I'm a Scot. I don't support independence, and I'm not long-suffering, or
oppressed. Many Scots do support independence, but I can't see them ever
becoming a majority.

I doubt this will get very far. I doubt many people would want to see the break-up of the UK. If Scotland became independent then Wales and Northern Ireland would be next. If Scotland became independent who would manage its foreign policy and who would defend the country?

Get away! All Scots are long-suffering and oppressed, by definition. How
else would you explain the requirement to make, and then eat, haggis?

They can join those other countries surrounding England and help to keep
those dreadful English in their proper place.

Shows how ignorant about the Scots _you_ are. You catch Haggis- you
don't make it. The funny thing about the little critters is that the
legs on one side of the body are an inch or two shorter than the other.
This helps them run around hills, apparently, but only the 2nd or 3rd
grade hills. There is the Munro Haggis, but its two front legs are
shorter, but have sharp claws- that helps them run straight up hills
over 3,000 feet high at a steeper incline. Haggis tastes very good BTW-
it's a little heavy though, but very versatile. I make it in a whisky
cream sauce sometimes- very nice!

It is because disinterested people are cajoled into signing
petitions that the people they are delivered to ignore them.

Do you really think 1 million non-scots signing this means
anything at all?

Two of those sentences were perfectly true.
