My girlfriend and I will be staying in the Cinque Terre area for 3
nights (Aug 11, 12, 13).
We are trying to find an inexpensive place to stay in any of the 5
cities. The most we can afford to spend is $50 per night per person
($100 total per night). We are having a hard time finding such a place
on the internet though.
Does anyone know of such a place to stay? Or perhaps have a room to
offer?
Thanks,
Dave

My girlfriend and I are going for 3 nights as well, in early September
(not sure if that makes a difference in price). I haven't called any
places up and asked for prices yet, but I was figuring it would be
around $25 a night per person. For a $100 I'd imagine you'd have your
own private bed and bath in a hotel; is that the kind of places you've
been calling?
Please let me know if you find a good deal.

It will make a huge difference.
July and August are the absolute peak months and in most
costal tourist areas hotels/resturanst probably see over 50%
of their annual turnover in those 8 weeks.
after Sept 1 many of the tourists disappear and prices become
somewhat normal again
