How to get broadband in the UK? AT&T laptop card??
 

I am from Canada, and I'd like to know what's the best way to get
broadband in the UK. I have heard of an AT&T laptop card that you can
get and it will work worldwide. Which card is this? And how much does
the package cost? How does it work in the UK? And how well does it
work?

Are there other good ways of getting broadband in the UK using my
laptop?

I will be staying with my elderly parents and they don't have ADSL or
wireless or anything! And this is a visit that I am supposed to be
with them a lot. I will also be visiting other elderly relatives in
old folks homes where there are also no broadband connections.

Can anyone help me out here?
