Hertz office at Heathrow
I have a reservation for a Hertz rental at Heathrow. I will take the express
from London to Heathrow, and go directly to the Hertz pickup location. Any advice you can give me on the route I will take from the train station to the pickup location would be most appreciated. HH |

Suggest you wait outside the nearest terminal (I think its 3) and you'll find a free courtesy shuttle van (marked Hertz) comes along every few minutes to take you to the Hertz lot. It's about a 5 to 10 minute ride in the shuttle, you go out to the northern perimeter via the access tunnel. Regards David Bennetts Australia |

I've found that there was very little difference, if any, when I booked my cars from Heathrow through a reseller. There could also be a surcharge for dropping off in a different location, so if the poster was leaving from Heathrow when he returns the car he may not gain anything by picking up elsewhere, even where an airport surcharge applied. Re: Hertz office at Heathrow
Why not get vehicle from Hertz Marble Arch (you can return it to any other
location including LHR if you want to). Marble Arch depot is in Edgeware Rd which is a congestion zone free road, so you can drive up or down Edgeware Rd to get out of congestion areas whilst not using the congesation zone as long as you know what the zone roads are. This would save having to go to LHR to do the pickup. You could also get a tube to any of the other London pickup places which may be outside the congestion zone if you wanted to. You are paying a surcharge for wanting to pick vehicle up at LHR depot on Northern Perimter Road.
