Thanks to Tim and Martin for their encouragement. Coming from Seattle,
we are used to functioning perfectly well in cold rain and mist, but it is
always prefrerable while on vacation to have mild, pleasant weather
(and it's better for photos, too!).

Versailles is also *unfinished*. I.e. many rooms are not decorated and were
also not used.
There is not much difference in the number of rooms you can see as a
visitor.

And on some aspects the *copy* is better is better than the original.
And these are not only the non-existent queues at Herrenchiemsee.

and plaster work is missing from the main staircase.

The gardens aren't quite up to Versailles standard.
