I'm planning to visit Amsterdam in November.
I found somewhere cheap apartment in private house, near the Amsterdam.
I think, that the name of the city was Harlem.
So If anybody have advice or ...

That will be Haarlem.

If you visit amsterdam in november, why do'nt you stay in amsterdam?
(sounds not logical to me, but who am I? says Einstein)
go for a bed and breakfast, search google.nl (web imenik) on
'amsterdam bed and breakfast -hotel -hotels'
seen a lot, even cheap apartments in private houses, do not wast your
time
on hotels. try also http://bedandbreakfast.bbnl.nl/noord-holland.html

Maybe we all meet Petra :-)

Haarlem is handy for A'dam and a very nice place to stay, it has a lot
of good restaurants cafes and bars; a fantastic old church, the Frans
Hals Museum and much more.
