Hi all,
I am arriving at Heathrow on BA on 10 April at 1520hrs my connecting
flight to CPH is at 1800hrs leaving from Stansted on Easyjet. I am
traveling from Heathrow to Stansted by coach. With customs and traveling
time to consider, will a make my connecting flight? Any alternatives
without having to pay the obscene costs of a one way flight from LHR to CPH
on one of the majors?
Thanks heaps.

Don't think you'd have any chance whatsoever, according to Michelin it's 56
miles between airports and the peak hour traffic will be building up at your
times. You may have to wait for your coach. Even if I were departing from
the same airport I'd leave more time for flight delays, customs and
immigration clearance, transfers between terminals and checkin for the
outgoing flight.

Try www.flybmi.com - they fly from Heathrow to Copenhagen and offer very
reasonable fares.
There's a flight at 1805 but you'd be even safer taking the following one!

Most unlikely.
It will probably about 1615 by the time you get out with your bags, maybe
later if you have a non-EU passport and the lines at immigration are bad,
then you wait for a bus and hit the rush hour at 1630 or 1700... I have no
idea how long the drive takes but I guess well over 1 hour at that time.
Any chance you can fly into and out of Gatwick, which is an Easyjet and BA
airport?
Also even BA has been offering some OK prices to some European cities (Rome
was about 80 pounds recently) - check on their website for special fares.

The return fare on BA from LHR for the date you want is £107 inculding
all the taxes, vs 47 one way on Easyjet, plus the costs and hassle of
making the transfer to Stansted
Yes, its unlikely to result in being cheaper overall, but the BA fare
will allow you to pick a return date that maybe at some point you
might be able to use?
