Default Hamburg Reeperbahn - Sin or Fun?

GlobalDetail.com has a great article about the Hamburg Red Light
District - Reeperbahn. It is (in)famous, but is it sinful or fun? There
are not only seedy clubs or dirty one-hour hotels, instead the
Reeperbahn is the centre of bars, clubs and restaurants with many
respectable people spending a night out here.

It's completely lame, and offers nothing that can't be seen elsewhere.
Don't even bother going there unless you are really easily shocked,
and in need of a mild thrill.

There are those who visit because of the Beatles connection, not because
of the bars and other establishments per se.

"[email protected]" is posting a message starting with a reference
to a "freat" article on GlobalDetail.com... I don't think he's looking
for travel advice.

Anyone who is shocked by the Reeperbahn or Amsterdam's Red Light
District should try Bangkok's Soi Cowboy sometime...
