Andy, you just don't get it, do you? By aggressively taking on
everybody who suggests that you might be wrong or mistaken you present
an image of somebody with whom nobody would want to do business. I
certainly would not want to do business with you -- but my next three
planned trips are in Europe, so maybe my lack of enthusiasm for your
style matters not at all.

Hopefully it will be one that doesn't involve spamming non-commerial
news groups with your advertising.

Really? Where is that written? Why wouldn't they just look for a group
that mentions their destination?

Do Americans planning to visit Europe call the local chamber of commerce
to ask about it?

What an arrogant, abusive twit. I can't imagine how anyone with good
sense could possibly enter into a business arrangement with you.

Fortunately for you, your ISP (Energis/theplanet.net) has a reputation
for being clueless at best or spam-tolerant at worst, so there's no
point in filing a complaint.

I'm the aggrieved party here; I have nothing to lose. You've already done
your worst to me by spamming, and now your wad is shot.

Remember, this is not a schoolyard and we're not operating by schoolyard
rules. In the schoolyard, you can score a lot of debating points with "he
started it!" But here, you can only lose by making a scene - you lose
business, you lose respect, and frankly, you're wasting your time.

After taking a look at your Web site, I'd say that the next thing you
need to understand is trademark infringement. But I think Disney's
lawyers will help you with that.

Waaahhh Miguel started it
No. You did when you used a noncommercial news group to advertise your
"villa" in Florida, which is across the Atlantic from the subject
destination.

    > I did not ask for any of this!!

Sure you did. You were told rather politely that your spam was not
appreciated, and then turned around and attacked everyone who
complained.

This is something that we was worried about but we was careful to mention
that the trademarks and pictures belong to their respective owners.
This is mentioned on the bottom of our main page.

But thanks for pointing that out to us.

That is a legal minefield!!

Cheers

Andy

Dave, I have apologised to Miguel and now I am doing the same to you!!

If I could shake you hand and say it to your face I would!!

I didn't realise it would be this much of a problem!
But as I said on an earlier post it won't happen again!

Regards

Andy

Query - if it sleeps 10, where do the last 2 sleep - if there are only 2
master bedrooms with four poster beds, and 2 twin bedded rooms?

That makes 8 - no mention of where the last 2 are to kip...

That's not good enough in this case. Putting disclaimers on your site
does not give you license to use the intellectual property of others in
any way you choose.

Even your domain name is calculated to cause confusion in the minds of
visitors, and worse yet, you use trademarked Disney characters to adorn
your site.

Clearly, you haven't talked to a lawyer. It's time that you did so,
before Disney comes knocking. I'm not a lawyer, so I can't give you any
official advice. But in your place, I'd remove all the references to
Disney and change the domain name. It's better than having your villa
seized and sold in order to pay the damages when you lose an
infringement lawsuit against you.
